Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a specialized unit that provides Specialized care for critically ill newborns.
The unit is equipped with 30 beds and state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- Extremely low birth weight babies less than 1kg.
- Bubble CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines for respiratory support.
- An in-house ultrasound machine for rapid diagnosis and imaging.
- 7 ventilators for advanced respiratory support.
- A dedicated isolation section for babies requiring strict infection control measures.

- Therapeutic Hypothermia
The NICU is designed to care for high-risk newborns, including:
- Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) babies born at less than 1500 grams.
- Babies with severe infections, such as sepsis or meningitis.
- Babies requiring close monitoring and intensive support due to respiratory distress, cardiovascular instability, or other life-threatening conditions.
